The Gigantism Fruit. Turning everything big.

Giganto Giganto no Mi. The actual name of the Gomu Gomu no Mi. It can not only make limbs longer, but also other people and animals once it gets its Awakening. Joy Boy used it on Zunisha to be able to carry Zou. It‘s also the reason the Mermaid Princesses are giants.

Issue with that is who ever eats the fruit knows the name instantly
Luffy said its the gomu gomu no mi

Lucky roo said its the gomu gomu no mi

The wg wouldn't call it by its actual name and even they call it gomu gomu no mi

Zoro would need this ability to make his pp bigger, so he wont be nervous around girls :suresure:

Thinking about it, it honestly can't be anything else than Zunesha own devil fruit or Tama for the panelling to make sense
While Gorosei may not have been informed about Zunesha being in Wano , the way the last page is framed CLEARLY emplies that devil fruit they're talking about is related to Zunisha. Otherwise this last panel makes NO SENSE except if Oda's intent is to completely mislead the readers
Yet, what devil fruit in Wano could be related to a giant beast? I genuinely don't see anything but Tama. Maybe Gomu Gomu no if it can make stuff gigantic like some people theorized
Now @Bounty raised a legit question, why the fuck would there a sudden focus on Tama as she was in the arc since the beginning? I concede that I don't have any clear answer on that BUT it's worth nothing Gorosei may only have came upon the realization of what her devil fruit is just now as the CP0 only learned that a kid had a weird ability making gifters and headliners switch side n ch 1018 and they may not have immediately reported it.
As the devil fruit was thought to be gone, it makes sense that devil fruit only crossed the Gorosei mind just now as that they still seem to not fully believe it (Gorbatchev still talks of it as a legend). Now if even the Gorosei (who are at the top of the world) are uncertain of its existence, it's highly plausible Kaido wouldn't even know it being a thing. (Although Holdem showed interest in it)

Also first act could possibly have hinted her DF being sought later

All that is assuming the last page isn't a red herring and that devil fruit is Zunesha related. If not, everything else is possible. Be it Toki, Luffy, Yamato, Kaido....

Oda is a master at misleading question is how it's awakened i believe she is only 8 years old that's not enough time to master or awaken a df unless they were just talking about it's reappearance as awakening, there was a similar scenario with df usage issue with Yamato where her VC claimed she was wearing sea stone cuffs from around age 8 to the time luffy destroyed them in the present so for 20 years. Yet she could fully control her ability to the point of stalling Kaido, i really hope Oda gives us a satisfactory explanation if it's Tama fruit:goatasure:

I'm not married to it being Tama's fruit either tbh
But assuming Oda is genuine and not trying to mislead the readers, I can only see her's or a new devil fruit (Like Zunisha if he has own) as I don't see what the other devil fruits in Wano would have to do with a giant beast.
Although there are theories about Gomu Gomu awakening making people/things gigantic so it could be that too

I like this idea. Obviously.

Just imagine, if Kid awakanes even more and pushes, he maybe brings his powers on a geomagnetic level, which could cause extremely trouble in the whole world. From weather changes, controlling temperature, controlling flood and drought, even things like geomagnetic storms, which could result in burning whole areas completely.
It makes no sense in terms of storywriting.

Kid's powers have been known to everyone and their mother for at least 2+ years (since they attacked the marines at Sabaody + countless escapades of Kid even before that).

Why on earth should the Gorosei suddenly start talking/sweating about Kid's fruit now?

Even if you want to twist it into this being about "awakening", it makes no fucking sense. The only WG representatives on Onigashima (CP-0 agents) are busy and far away from Kid's/Law's fight with BM. They haven't seen his awakening.

On top of that the name of the Df is straight forward ("Jiki-Jiki-No-Mi") which describes its function perfectly. There is literally no reason why it should be called otherwise originally. We know its function to a tee.

It's certainly not Kid's fruit (and its not Luffy's, Law's, BM's or Kaido's fruit either).

I belive its he gomu because of the whole deal with Who's who, but we really need the official translation and people breaking down the original japanese wording in order to be sure of what the Gorosei meant
Again: It would be a GIGANTIC plothole if its the Gomu-Gomu-No-Mi.

Everyone and their mother knew that Luffy had those powers for 2+ years. Not to mention that the WG owned this fruit a few years ago (until Shanks stole it).

Why on earth should the Gorosei now suddenly start talking about this fruit reappearing right now or even them only knowing it from legends?

It's not the Gomu-Gomu-No-Mi.

I'm not married to it being Tama's fruit either tbh

Most likely call right now (based on pure logic) is Toki's DF with Tama's DF being second and Zunisha being a fruit user a distant third. Everyhing else makes no sense plotwise.

To me it sounded like the "this is our chance to erase this nuisance" part was the prelude to the discussion of that legendary devil fruit.
And THAT kinda sounds like the person who has that fruit was a thorn in their eyes for a while, even without knowing the truth about their devil fruit.

In other words, I have no idea. :josad:

Onigashima is the descendant of the giant continent puller who wakes up from long slumber also marco hinting at Onigashima went by another name
is quite interesting little parallel to the awakened devil fruit user mentioned by the gorosei in the latest chapter :catblush:
But that doesn't make any sense either.

Onigashima is Kaido's base and we know that he has been there for quite some time.

Not to mention him and Orochi dealing with the WG (CP-0) directly, so the WG has known Onigashima's existence for a while, too.

If you want to talk about the "awakening" part (it's actually more like re-appeared/re-awakened if you want to translate it directly), it doesn't make any sense either. Nothing about Onigashima right now suggests that sth about it has "awakened". Not even the CP-0 agents (only WG agents present on Onigashima atm) have ever mentioned sth like that.

So the Gorosei and basically everyone in the entire WG have known for 2+ years (since Enies Lobby, Impel Down and Marineford) that Luffy has the all-threatening Gomu-Gomu-No-Mi, but only now they suddenly remember it being a "legendary fruit" and start shitting their pants?

Nah. If Oda really tries to pull this card he has completely lost the plot.

Look at the first page of the chapter btw (credit to FentaNeal)

The whole scene seems completely disconnected from the rest of the chapter at first glance.

If you take a closer look you see a Toki statue in the background, while one kid writes the rather interesting wish "I want to see my mom again" on his lamp.

Those two panels were clearly drawn that way for a purpose.

Imho it really tells us that Toki's fruit is meant at the end. Zunesha is really just a red herring, which never made much sense (Gorosei aren't even talking to the WG soldier btw, you can see that those are completely independent scenes - no connected speech bubbles or den den mushis with the Gorosei at all).

the clue is
1. the fruit is "legend" and never awakenend for centuries
2. even the fruit name is "erase" from history
so this is clearly not ordinary fruit but why replace his name and why hide it for long time and why this fruit never awaken?
so yeaah prime suspect is law, tama, or zunisha
yamato is possible but i highly doubt it

Oda wouldn't have revealed Luffy's DF being guarded on a Marine ship if it wasn't somehow going to be relevant later in this arc. I have no doubt that the Gorosei were talking about Luffy's fruit in the current chapter. Oda did say pay attention to Luffy at Jump Festa 2022. He's probably going to reveal something relating to Joyboy.

Two devil fruits were said to be worth billions in the 1 shot. One was Luffy's devil fruit and the other was Law's. My moneys on Gomu Gomu being the legendary fruit that the Gorosei are talking about. After all nobody has been a bigger nuisance to the WG than Luffy.

Don't know....why would they randomly start talking about it... it felt like its something which they remembered during conversation..... but it's probably just randomly timed info dump like how WsW mentioned Gomu Gomu......Gomu is the best bet.
