Just look at the bodys of MMA fighters vs shaolin kung fu fighters for example. Kung Fu fighters, and this goes for almost any Asian martial art, have a far better control over their bodies. You can see they understand their bodies very well in the way they move and their toned, slender muscles.
MMA looks dumb in comparison.
Yeah it's a competition. In a competition there are certain rules and techniques, otherwise you could just look at random thugs on the streets mugging innocent strangers.

Probably because Shaolin Monks do choreography and MMA fighters actually fight
MMA is how old? Compare to actual martial arts that were created when humans still had a proper understanding of their own bodies.
MMA is the US version of gladiator fights, deal with it.
