No, I don't think so. The partner who dies stays in the game and continues posting. The other doesn't turn into a tree stump.

[White Whistle] - If a player's partner dies, their partner will become their White Whistle artifact, and continue living through them. They may continue posting in the thread. The surviving partner will attain the rank of White Whistle and gain immunity against the curse of the 5 first layers. They may also enter the 6th layer if they choose.

The surviving partner does gain a power-up when it comes to delving as Zem said, but this white whistle thing isn't all bad. It benefits both players. If one partner dies, they can still post which is a huge benefit to any faction bar indie.

Without going and tracking down the exact receipts, I made note of a pingy post to Kiwi (joked about her being scum and then quickly dropped it in a way that felt weird), one on TAC (off handed comment about him being scum that again went nowhere), some on Naomi (too easy and too strong of a town read) and then a few with Zemmi. I can dig up the receipts but Idk if everyone is about that level of serious on D0 lol.

Without giving you a serious ISO I can just say he’s made several post that have been weird. And when someone has that many post that feel odd It’s concerning.

Actually I think being on the council for scum is better. People are less likely to aim kill shots at council members because that night lynch is very powerful for town. So influencing it will be easier for scum (only 10 people)

I think getting the attention is worth it for the pay off.

Be careful who you pick for a partner, try to make sure it is someone you trust. There is a mechanic that makes me kinda nervous about if one dies the other gets a power up basically.

it does not say player die from their partner/delve from what i read. basically if your partner dies to mafia/lynch the other will live on in their partner and become tree stump.


@Zemmi where did you get idea, your partner killing you for power up, not just accident mafia group.. since player can still be killed from mafia kill/miss lynch/lynch etc
