If there's any foreshadowing on that scene it's most likely lost in translation (no city or dynasty relevance) since they just tried making puns like the original but I have no idea what the original Japanese was about.

Yamao is a clown, she brings nothing but retarded cosplaying instead of doing any sort of what normal human usually do. Quite franky everyone've had enough of Yamatrash and that cosplaying act of hers.
