As if Luffy isn't heavily weakened. He also confirmed that Kaido's Haki has gotten stronger too.

Kaido still fought numerous people before and it was explicitely said he was nerfed.

Same way Doffy was nerfed by Law and gama knife but only used awakening and god thread in the end or Luffy was hurt but only used G4 in the end. Being nerfed doesn't mean not bringing your biggest guns in the end. But Kaido without those prior injury/fights/feats would take lot more time to defeat.

he isn't. he ate food and recovered.
his haki getting stronger from drunken mode does not change the fact that Kaido is nerfed and weakened as actually stated in the manga

Let Kid finally gets through his head, ignore his distrust to law and go all out. Use all his hakis, which are confirmed he has, including his awakaning, maybe even reach advCoC and Linlin will got dragged in a veeeeery difficult fight.

Just look how far they pushed her already. And in her actual state, which sucking even more years out of herself, she seems even stronger than kaido. Still she can’t put down kid for good.
