Character Discussion Do you agree with the disappointment people have regarding Eustass Kid?

personally I understand my disappointment with people in the global One Piece community.

He's a good character but I don't know... It seems like he's missing something to make us completely satisfied with him.

I tried to see several reviews of the last chapter and many people pointed out that Law did more damage than Kid against Big Mom. I really feel like it is.

And I have the impression that Kid with his attacks is almost always the same thing he never innovates. It bothers me a lot.

I didn't expect it to be magneto but I really thought it showed something more interesting. I fail to see him as a competitor to Luffy.

I hope Kidd creates some type of weapon with his powers that does more than simply crash into his opponents.

He uses same attacks ( big metal go brrrr ) over and over, gets boring at some point
No CoA, no CoO, No CoC even against fodders i dont even want Adv.CoC
He isnt even as impressive as his right hand man killer
Talks about being luffys rival but now acts like cheerleader for luffy
Also that scene from anime new opening didnt make anything better lol.

No matter how durable you are, getting hit by a Train would hurt you from the sheer physical impact. Punk Corna Dio is bigger than Bigger Mom, it did do damage.

I think the fundamental criticism of Kidd's moveset stems from 2 points.
- the lack of creativity from Oda regarding his moveset (which is valid imo).
- the lack of understanding of how durability and physical impacts work.

You can criticize how Oda handled his character and his rivalry with Luffy though, I ain't defending that.

Anyways all this shows is that people will bash kid for literally anything. It literally doesn't matter what feats Kid gets, because no matter what, he will always be trash in the eyes of some fans simply because his DF abilities are relatively straightforward and not flashy.

Kid's awakening had more hype than Law's and yet it was shitted on by the anti-Kid fans because "its just metal"

If you want to hate on Kid, fine. But at least be honest with it instead of pretending that his feats are bad when they objectively aren't.

I've been making fun of kidd for being a luffy cheerleader but i fuck with Kidd, people exaggerate too much.
What would people have him do? They want him to be a marvel character blood bending people because there's 0.00something mgs of iron in their blood because some writer at marvel trying to sound smart wrote magneto like that.

Sure, it hurt Big Mom, but let's be honest when we saw that Kid in Udon, we really thought he was in the same league as Luffy, something that turned out to be very wrong over time. chapters.

Yeah I think people had high expectations of his strength too. It is clear now that he isn't on the level of people like Luffy and Zoro. He's still strong tho, but not like those 2. Law seems more impressive than him as of now too.
