Well these ''lightning trails'' just were kings fire that got distorted. We saw in the anime that neither King or Sanji used visible CoA.
To be fair they have both black clothing so its hard to see but there was no black lightning at all in the anime when they clashed.

Zoro has the luxury of already fighting with something hard he doesn’t have need to develop hardening like Sanji and the others
