Holy shit what a chapter
One piece world is not ready for Kid. Electromagnetic canon:steef: Kid haters collecting Ls as usual
Law was impressive this chapter.
I know emperors will fall this arc but its still shocking. Big mom and Kaido reigned over the seas for decades. Two yonko going down at the same time. This is the biggest news since Roger. New generation changing the world order. Your era is over line gave me chills. Hype chapter

During all chapter , big mom just made one attack to Law by punching. I dont know how people find this is impressive.
This is totally shit square shit. How cannot one yonkou manage attack to two non advanced coc user ? Even one time . there is no indication about big mom is using advanced coc coating . Anyway , most inconsistent fight in onigashima.

By the way . the only winnder during wano arc is Law. No matter what will happen rest of arc , Law will be MVP with very big gap.

Finally some fucking stakes in Wano? Count me the fuck in.
You friend is right oda doesn't know what to do so he did this to make her lose. The lack of acoc is enough proof of that

As a friend of mine said:

Some really cool panels here.

If this is it, Big Mom being defeated by those two is lame. They don't have interesting plotlines to do with her (Law wanting to uncover history and her hiding history is fake as fuck). There's no interesting connection or dynamic to it. It feels like a victory borne of "Big Mom needs to be taken down by someone, and uh these two are supposed to be Luffy's rivals, or at least equals-ish" and if that's really supposed to justify it then Oda should have written a plotline connecting them more before this. Could have put Law in WCI and made it so he developed some kind of vendetta. Could have actually made Big Mom a bigger part of what happened to Kid during the timeskip.

Furthermore, I think that "Law and Kid were also powering up, we just didn't see it, that's why they're this strong" is a lame justification because would it not have been obviously cooler if we saw how they powered up? Like yeah, Straw Hats pull powerups out of nowhere during fights too, but they still get some kind of character moment of realizing they need to be stronger, whereas this is being framed as "Yeah Law and Kid could already do this." I want to see what powerups they had offscreen.

I do think there were some cool aspects. Law extending his blade all the way to the ground and doing some shockwave through it doesn't really make sense (as though his powers usually do anyway with this kind of thing) but it's cool as heck anyway. Big Mom showed off some awesome moves; I wish the fight was longer and made her more of a raid boss but we did get some big moves; it feels like we saw the finale of her soul powers and what she can do with them.

The absolute biggest chad thing the story could do would be to make her get up after this, to show yeah, the emperors are fucking strong, they're a big deal. But I'm not getting my hopes up.
Yeah, I agree with your friend here. This chapter was cool but that's it as far as the fight goes. Everything else has been lackluster, worse than the Queen fight IMO.

Kidd was built up to have some connection to Linlin in Udon but that never materialized and Law was here to be a call back to Sabaody. Equating Linlin to a Pacifista was always a weird play by Oda and it wouldn't of taken much to give Law deeper motivation against her.

5/10 fight with the last chapter saving it. Weaker than Queen v. Sanji and King Arbel v. Zoro. Kaido v. Luffy is pending

??? Weird interpretation, she was hammering Law with blows. Those are def comparable to Kong Gun. Law's just an ungodly tank when he needs to be.

Eustass Kidd knocked out big mom twice in one chapter. Broke her bones(after law's shock Willie made it vulnerable) and MADE her DODGE his bull attack, thus proving all naysayers wrong that his attacks don't have any effect on big mom. Big mom should have tanked that bull rampage head on if she knew it won't hurt her. But ofcourse she didn't, she Dodged it.

Law turned out to be a tank himself. Taking back to back haki coated punches from bm and still stay awake enough to do puncture Willie was next level
