I really hope there is a 1% chance that Big Mom didn't get defeated, if she truly is defeated that's really disappointing.

I really want her to have a satisfying defeat and if this how she goes down it doesn't feel satisfying at all, I don't have any problem with Kid and Law defeating Big Mom but I just want more to the battle as well as seeing more of Big Mom in action.

I'll give huge credit to Kid and Law for being really impressive when fighting against Big Mom but when it comes to Big Mom herself, if she is truly defeated then Oda's writing for Big Mom's character is officially trash and I say this as someone who likes Big Mom and has sometimes defended Oda's writing of her character.

I personally don't dislike Big Mom's character and I don't think her character is bad, but Oda's handling of her character especially during the Wano arc is horrible.
Im of 2 halves/mindsets on this. I just want to see more of her powers and fight before she loses.

Aside from Lance, consider Drumz's teases. He definitely knows shit, because the last 2 chapters he was unhappy because BM was getting rocked and implied it. Now apparently he's happy and has reacted to @Roo and others in a way that makes it seem like Kid's railgun didn't fully defeat her..

I believe she got shot down to Wano and hurt bad, but I also believe she may come back and continue to fight Kid. I really don't think this is a bad thing at all. If Oda wants to prolong her loss to have her lose closer to Kaido or maybe even shift her fight to the rooftop, then its entirely worth it for someone like Kid.

Even on that note, her being down in Wano could imply that she brings up her crew this time, especially if they are close. So you have these 2 looming Yonko fights while her crew acts as the final push against victory. Characters like Chopper or Usopp or Brook get second chances at a few double spread moments (not 1v1s) before they become irrelevant.

Hell, if Yamato resolves the bomb plot, then maybe she ends up handling Smoothie or something and the entire crew can meet her.

The only downside to this is Pantheos does in fact take an L lol, cause Kid would win later, not this chapter.

But we'll see if this is even remotely correct, I doubt it.

I dont think Drumz knows anything. At least not when he talks about this chapter.
Yeah he knows some stuff, he's joking around so you can't tell which is a real hint or not lol
