Man, i think it is super obvious and implied in the chapter. We can only be certain when the panels and translations are out but you're making a mistake by assuming that BM has anything left to show.

Remember when we thought the calamities have awakening, so what if BM just doesn't have it or it's an ability she has used before.

The Roger flashback heavily implies to me that she's been defeated (not mentioning the narration box lol)

Not really. Kanjuro's painting and Yamato's sub plot was a ticking time bomb, but it was sort of resolved the instant that Yamato arrived on time to stop the painting light it on fire.

This is the most effective use of the plot line that I can think of. Instead of the bombs remaining unused, they are actually used to resolve a much bigger problem in Big Mum, who is equal to Kaido.

This also means that they don't have any other weapons to really defeat Kaido. Leaving it all down to just Luffy.

It wasnt resolved because Yamato was still dealing with it. Big mom dealing with it in a kill 2 birds with one stone situation as what it is percived in the summary a basically Gag to give Kidd and Law the victory is terrible
