Yeah, Lanji's role leaves the game when lynched.

Cell should be looking for two random players who represent 17 & 18
So she must have a targeting ability to fulfill her wincon
Since Androids 17 & 18 are not real roles & are simply chosen by Host
Then invests & info from DPs are useless for her wincon

This suggests that Zemmi's ability requires her to visit most players in search of androids
For such a high risk ability, it's clear that she got lot of immunities (Which is expected from Cell who had insane regeneration)
And to balance all of this, i think even if she knows who are 17 & 18, she needs to become strong enough to absorb them

From all of this, i conclude that her ability requires her to visit as much as players as possible to become strong enough to beat 17 & 18
Since they are not real roles, then their identity keeps switching to different players every DP or NP (This is added so that her wincon isn't lost if 17 or 18 die by other means early in the game)

For this wincon to be neither too easy nor too hard, she must visit certain number of players, before there are alive players less than what she requires, meaning she is on a time limit. Since it's a game with 54 players, i except that she needs around half, between 25 & 30 (Both those she visit & visit her count)

Once she becomes perfect cell, either her wincon is fulfilled or she needs to start Cell Games (I lean toward this one)
Cell was basically thought to be defeated when he blew himself up & then he returned & gohan finished him off
So i believe Cell needs to be both Lynched & Killed to be destroyed
Otherwise if he wins Cell Games, it would not end well
