How will it happen tho, will Kaidou survive Hydra and beat up Luffy to the brink of death for him to unlock Awakening?

My moneys on Kaido will survive gear 4, Luffy will almost get beaten, his crew will save him and rather than watch his weakened crew get decimated Luffy will force his fruit awakened

surely not, they feared him not because of his power per se, but because of his knowledge, roger was powerful, yes, perhaps the most powerful in the verse, but they did not fear him for that,
here the GM expresses fear of awakening someone's fruit, it is safe to assume that they fear what this causes, I am not saying that ADV COC is not to be feared, but it is not the only thing to fear,
