He had advanced CoA way back in Dressrosa. In the timeskip with Wihawk we got to see that he had to master CoA until then he could not drink alcohol.

So he mastered CoA to the point where he could not improve it anymore. Mastering CoA means being able to use CoA at its highest level.

Therefore Zoro had ryou back in Dressrosa or even further right after the timeskip. People coping about Enma being the reason for zoro to use ACoA. But infact he already had it.

Enma only sucked too much ryou out at once. If he hasn't had ryou at the first place enma wouldn't be able to suck it out. :smart:

Coating your sword with CoA is the same as coating your fist. Fodder navy soldiers could coat their swords in DR.

Zoro doesnt know Ryou. The Ryou, Barrier Haki, was retconned so it fits with Sentomaru/Boa Sisters/Rayleigh examples because until Wano from timeskip, Armament Haki was only about coating your weapon/fist.

It's an unpopular opinion but I think Zoro still hasn't learned penetration haki. I think so from his reaction to Red Roc, it would mean he still got more potential ahead of him.

But he could apparently rely on barrier haki back in FI, that was massive.
Not only that but he learned Ryou at Alabasta against Mr 1 while Luffy didn't showed Ryou until now. He jumped straight ahead to penetration haki.

And of course Ashura is ACoC since like Oden's attack is the only one scarring Kaido.

The fodder marines were anime only.

Where Zoro's black blades at?:josad:

Unless Mihawk was talking about basic CoA.:myman:
Who said mastering Ryou leads to black blades though? Zoro learnt Ryou and yet was still far away from making a black blade. The scabbards and Oden were masters of Ryou and yet didn't have Black Blades.

We know that Zoro was able to cut Kaidou despite not spending time to learn/train the first level of ACOA in Wano. That alone shows that he had level 1 of ACOA since the Timeskip, it is what it is.

If you are talking about the time he is cutting the swords of the octopus you are misunderstanding how barrier haki works, how Oda draws choreography, and what went on during that scene.
Nope you are.

Zoro tells Hyozou that's the moment to escape if he wanted to, there's no reason to tell that if that's an offensive attack instead of a defensive stunt.

And Enma didn't really help Zoro learn Ryou lmfao. That's not something Enma can help with.

You can see the movement lines of the blades and the blades being cut at notches, rather than being broken against some sort of barrier. This isn't an argument I want to get into, because it is so ludicrous, and you are only fooling yourself.

Enma helps train emission and control, of course it would help with learning barrier.
