Yeah there's plenty of more interesting characters to stall Kaido for few chapters

Jinbei, Brook, Franky, Robin, Denjiro, Kawamatsu to name few, Kidd's/Law's cew, Yamato too, Marco if he can fight.

Bro. Dragons create magical flame clouds that lift objects meaning the clouds do the lifting and Kaido just creates them, it doesn't mean every rock that's on the island is taking away from Kaido's stamina.

If Kaido weakens the flame clouds stop working properly that's the deal

Honestly it would be so hype to see them all face Kaido and try to stall and injure him, kinda like the SHs trying to defend the Sunny and fight BM too.

This makes no difference, the fact that Momo who is a literal FODDER that'd get oneshot by East Blue Luffy can move such a massive island is all the evidence you need that having any effect on it through clouds isn't that impressive.

What Momo is doing is entirely different. He can't create flame clouds the size of Kaido.

Point being that the flame clouds are "magical", an ability of Kaido's fruit so the clouds do the lifting not Kaido exerting strength and stamina to keep the objects on the clouds in the sky.
