The move name is all about stealing techniques so it looks like Kaido somehow temp. boosted his CoO to Luffy's level, as ridiculous as that is. At least that's my current interpretation.

After flying up a bit, Kaidou stops and looks down at Onigashima. He then opens his mouth and shoots a “Bolo Breath” point-blank to Luffy, who can't dodge it. The attack hits Onigashima and pierces through the entire island and the castle. We see how “Bolo Breath” goes through the Live Floor and goes between Yamato and Momonosuke at the bottom of the island.

“Bolo Breath” swept along Luffy through the entire Onigashima but he finally escapes from it when Kaidou's beam pierces all the island. Luffy changes into “Boundman” form and flies back where Kaidou is.

That Bolo Breath sound crazy asf, Kaido literally shot anything out, crazy power behind.
Respect for Luffy to tank this and even a adv Bague version.

You know, you would think that if Kaido was seeing the future actively that Oda would signal that much like he had Katakuri signal that about Luffy. Little of anything Kaido has shown has been conclusive of FS until now.

You're trying to argue backwards when before this chapter, no one would have even entertained the idea of Kaido being a FS user especially due to his emotional instability further exacerbated by his alcoholism.

Oda highlights FS because it is far likely this is the first instance that Kaido used it. If you look back at last chapter a future sight user like Katakuri would have evaded the first strike from Snakeman only to be hit by the second but Kaido outright states he doesn't know where it's coming from.
