To the "full health Zoro wouldn't do better against Kaidou in chapter 1010" arguments:

- Was Doflamingo nerfed after Gamma Knife against Luffy?
- Was Whitebeard nerfed of old age and when he suffered Squard's stab and heart attacks in Marineford?
- Is Kaidou nerfed now when he went through this massive gauntlet before fighting Luffy 1v1?

Besides why even argue that shit when you have this statement in the manga?

A bunch of characters pretty much confirmed to have FS, Lanji confirmed to never have haki above Usopp's, Luffy is done for the arc, Kaido talking shit about the samurai, calling them weak. Good chapter.

Zoro ACoC damaged a character (King) who has greater durability/defense than Kaido and is harder to than Kaido. Yes, Zoro ACoC would cause Kaido even greater damage. That was the point to fighting and beating King.

Ehh, it doesn't work that way.

HxH powerscaling is not DBZ powerscaling or Naruto powerscaling or OP powerscaling. There are PIS/CIS moments but that doesn't excuse random Zenkai boosts whenever the plot deems it fit.

In most shounen, as the fight goes longer they get willpower boosts. They also show progressively stronger moves, and OP works very much the same way.

Most of RT5 have been holding back and that they actually have significantly stronger attacks they don’t want to show yet. Law/Kid already know they have awakening, BM and Kaido have not shown everything.
@Fujishiro also said it best, Kaido is like a Kenpachi character. He gets stronger with bloodlust and he still haven’t shown his trump card.
