Kaido only started going serious against Luffy because he saw could Coat his CoC but later dismissed him when he sent him flying into the waters. Kaido was shock when Zoro scarred him "thinking he used CoC" and turned to him but Zoro fell and guess what Kaido dismissed him too but gave him some acknowledgment. Both Luffy and Zoro did what Oden did to Kaido but Zoro now "Fully able to coat CoC" isn't infront of Kaido. So Stop being delusional and read the story well.

I know its really extreme but I kinda wish Luffy got to solo Big Mom and Zoro got to solo Kaido (especially for ZKK too) somehow. I know the Zoro wank would be off the charts, but given what Oda has done for Zoro this arc, would it be that much more extreme really.
But I also liked the idea of this mega battle royale of Luffy, nearly all the SHs, maybe Apoo and Hawkins vs Big Mom and Kaido facing Zoro, the Scabbards, Kidd, Killer and Drake. I know its absurd but the hype would be off the charts by far! Like the SHs vs Oars but more extreme in scale by far ofc! Far bigger, better and even doubled!
Its also really weird how Oda gave Luffy the Nidai at beginning of Wano then it disappeared to never be shown and mentioned again but he wouldn't let Zoro have it, its very frustrating.
I've always felt Zoro will get the Nidai and he will be the monster samurai of Wano to succeed and even exceed Oden and Ryuuma ultimately, to truly give Mihawk the most legendary and ultimate opponent he could ask for!
Both Kaido and Mihawk want a legendary opponent and fight to the death and Zoro is gradually being associated more with Kaido and will be even more imo once Oda stops blue balling us on Kaidos and especially Zoro's full backstories, lineages and such.
There is one other thing to consider and worry about though....Nightmare Luffy.
Nightmare Luffy had a katana for reasons I can't remember why, a certain someone's shadow maybe? Given Wano heavily throws back to Thriller Bark for many reasons and is blatantly connected as Oda made clear back in TB too, we might be seeing a return of Nightmare Luffy somehow. Given Moria is now with Blackbeard, he could still show up to Wano potentially and end up powering up Luffy to get revenge on Kaido for the slaughter of his crew and fulfil his YEARS of wanting revenge and to avenge his fallen crew?
I've felt Oden is a mixture of Zoro and Luffy, some even say Rayleigh is like Sanji and Zoro combined and I don't think those beliefs are outlandish at all, I concur with them tbh. There's also the potential and even imo blatant connections Rayleigh will have Mihawk to be officially confirmed and revealed, but thats a whole other topic ofc. I also think Oden incorporates a lot of Sanji into his character funnily enough, its blatantly evident too.
I can't see Oda letting Zoro overshadow Luffy as much as he loves to wank them both so I fear Oda may make Luffy the Monster Samurai, given how Luffy has been perceived by Kaido so far and Kaido has grown to respect him and have fun fighting him and someone equal for the first time in decades now!
Zoro vs King was a little underwhelming for me especially with how Oda is also giving so much to Luffy vs Kaido and I really wanted to see Zoro take on Kaido alone, maybe getting a Nothing Happened 2.0 moment for him with the Mink Medicine too even or from the Hakai or something combined with Kaidos respect for Zoro he would have upon being reminded of Oden and Zoro's immensely selfless devotion to Luffy.
I genuinely believe Zoro is the Monster Samurai and that it shouldn't be Luffy, but I fear Oda will make it Luffy for the sake of even more relentless Luffy wank. Shonen MCs get the most extreme wanks after all ofc (PAUSE). But at the same time, I really want to see Zoro become the hero of Wano specifically, to get his own statue in Wano and be hailed as the guardian hero samurai of Wano, the successor of Ryuuma and Oden.
Oda made Ushimaru look just like Zoro for a blatant reason too and Ushimaru seems to have a great legacy too. I still have faith that Oda will deliver greatness to Zoro in buckets even as he has done so far, even if Luffy will overshadow him unfortunately.
But if nothing else, Zoro gets to be the future WSS who was trained by the currrent WSS and his greatest current rival or will be at least ofc, people will see him as Yonko level in future too, he tanked a double Yonko attack which nobody has ever done before on-screen at least or that we know of so far and he is the king of the 3 sword style that he seems to have invented too! He's inspired so many back at his dojo at home and has some of the coolest, most badass, honourable fights and such too!
I'm not trying to hate on Luffy btw, but I do feel Oda is being a lot more biased towards him post TS than other SHs although Luffy does need it to become Yonko level and the actual next Pirate King in due time too ofc. I felt the SHs including Luffy were still more equal pre TS but I'm pretty happy still with how Oda has handled most SHs in their fights this arc especially! Just a massive shame for Nami, Usopp and Chopper so far....Although at least Chopper got a massive, literal monster slap on Queen lmfao.
