In that time Marco didn't put a scratch on king, you have to understand that even if king = Marco whatever addition either of them have, it would be too much for the other to handle.
You put a panel of both marco and sanji saying that both of them it's too much but somehow you fail to understand that in that specific panel, sanji or Marco had failed to do their job.
If sanji was enough, they would never gang up on Marco and vise versa.
Marco on his butt was thinking about king's race, he never thought about Queen as individual.
Sanji with the RS fought king and the outcome was overwhelming in king's favour, while the same sanji could fight against Queen with way more impressive performance.
You are taking the two strongest of the crew and make them almost equals and you skip some very interesting details.
