So in other words we should probably not be opening up elections to the permanent seats too often. Question is - if town nominate Mafia and they get in, does the Mafiosi convert to Town? Probably not.

Thats the part I am confused about. If Mafia still has ability to kill in night phase (presumably they do? Or is is just this serial killer) then Mafia kind of seem to have an advantage if any candidate they nominate converts to Mafia and a candidate that Town Nominates still remains Mafia (if originally Mafia)

Tbh we should decide on players who shall never get nominated by Town. This way, if they get nominated regardless we know it's Maf's doing.

I think scum has an advantage, but we have some form of control over things as well. The best strategy is to collectively decide on lynch candidates in the thread. If somebody gets nominated who isn't a consensus decision, that player was likely nominated by scum and is more likely to be non Mafia. This also goes for the seat election.

Will we be remembered from time to time how long we have before a day or night phase will end?
One of my biggest concerns is that I might miss one deadline because it´s a bit hard to tell how long we have left when you´re living in a country with a different timezone than the WG time. Sorry, I´m not yet used to post in an international board.

I feel ya that is why I have written for myself a note that from the deadline hour I should take 4 hours off. By that I am on time with everything, I was doing the same with international detective role plays and all

Np. Tbh this game is a bit special, so even for old timers it's new. You'll get the hang of it. As for RM games it depends on the hosts. If you're playing one of my games prepare for chaos, though xD.
