- Conversation of the Gorousei in the castle of Mary Geoise.
-The World Government has always tried to get the "Gomu Gomu no Mi", but they have not been able to do it in 800 years.
-It seems as if that Devil Fruit ran away from them.
-A member of the Gorousei says that he is not crazy, since the Zoan fruits have a mind of their own.
-The Gorousei says that the "Gomu Gomu no Mi" is actually a Zoan-type fruit, and that its real name is "Hito Hito no Mi" (Human Human Fruit) Mythological-Model "Nika".
-In the chapter we also see a part of Hiyori and Orochi.
-Luffy has awakened the fruit from him and now he feels he is fully. It's his “Gear 5”.
-Luffy vs. Kaidou.
-Luffy grabs Kaidou from the roof and takes him upstairs, then attacks him in a savage way.

He should have it before awakening too. All Zoans have quick recovery and high resilience regardless of whether or not they're awakened. Awakening just takes it to the next level, so Luffy always had his zoan recovery, which means all his endurance feats so far are partly due to his devils fruit.

So how much of even more of a beast does zoro look for outshining him in that aspect

Zoro's best attack (ashura) just made a paper cut on Kaido

That so called "paper cut" is still more power than 99.9% of the attacks we have seen in Wano. Zoro has caused Kaido more damage than any other character has done with their single attack.

Kaido is incredibly durable and hard to damage because of his incredibly tough/hard skin/scales. Similar to Big Mom who has steel/iron balloon like body. The external part of their body is hard/tough their internal or bones.

In fact, Mr. 1 is the only character in the manga that has steel skin, bones, organs, muscles and more since he is a blade man which gives him a steel body. Similar to how Luffy has a rubber body.

Actually, it now feels like Nightmare Luffy vs Moria...Like Luffy was already doing Ok against Kaido without this power...now he is better.... I feel like Nightmare Luffy Kaido might still be around Luffy will be down once again.....thought it is possible he gets magically healed too.

Luffy's recovering and endurance was always off the charts.
Luffy managed to get up now due his awakening, which gave him even more stamina and endurance as stated back in Impel Down.

Luffy's endurance was good but nothing that amazing, proff is how much he gets tired and KOed in his fights. But he did always had some crazy recovery speed, always coming back to the fight instantly after getting destroyed, and that might be due to the df.

Lets compare him with Zoro just for reference, Zoro always tanked a fuckton of damage withoud fainting, the times when he did actualy faint it was due to massive ammounts of damage like Mihawks cut for example, but at the same time it always took Zoro a LOT f time to recover from his wounds, where even on the following arc Zoro sometimes would still be heavily damaged...Luffy on the other hand, he faints a lot thats no secret, but he always comes back like he didnt took any damage at all. That recovery speed might be possible due to his DF.
