He wasn't stronger than Ashura when they were younger and you can't say hes trained more than Ashura has in these 20 years

Unless he has a DF or something, there's nothing to show he's stronger than him

During his time as Witching Hour Boy, Denjiro met up with Yasuie and planned things between the 2

During Yasuie's execution, Kyoshiro was there but Yasuie told him to not do anything because it's not the time yet.
Then Orochi murdered Yasuie with his own pistol, and Kyoshiro was very angry inside.

Another angry person, Yasuie's new friend, Zoro, couldn't hold back anymore and threw ranged slash to Orochi. But Kyoshiro, who also was very angry during the scene, chose to protect Orochi and blocked Zoro's attack to respect his "planning" with the late Yasuie.

And to be honest while it's now confirmed Denjiro = Kyoshiro, it raises more questions than answers to me, mainly why exactly did he save Orochi from Zoro's attack ? He wasn't even supposed to be there since he mentioned Orochi came without him. It could have been a perfect opportunity to let Orochi get killed while having the excuse he wasn't there

I get the feeling this story is deeper than we think right now. With that said, with Kyoshiro revealed to be Denjiro, i guess we now know he was active these past 20years, with him remaining behind from Onigashima party potentially being an excuse to make his come-back as an ally

It lowers the strength of Orochi's army as an antagonist though since Kyoshiro was seemingly his best man, which is another reason i'm skeptical of this reveal and Hope there is something going on deeper than this

Kyoushiro not being villain is boring.

it took food + rest + 11 hours + nami + 2 g4 modes and rounds to beat Cracker, king/queen zoan fighters are about to lose in lesser hours vs dudes slower & weaker than g4 Luffy. LOL
Calamities fanboys should pray that calamities even surpass Cracker skills and feats unless king and queen lose to Kidd and law 1 v 1 coz if not...

King having CoC is totally shut down if he fights Zoro or Sanji coz Oda only gives luffy conquerors as opponents/allies

it's just wrong how Oda has handled calamities in flashbacks and present , too little screen time and hype.

I never had the impression that Kyoshiro was able of defeating a Calamity, even Jack.

Kyoushiro I think gives off a very strong impression particularly his design so I always thought he'd be wano elite class (i.e. around base Jack level like Ashura, Inu and Neko appear to be) or maybe even slightly above base Jack as he gave off the impression of being the strongest samurai under Orochi thus a strong contender as Zoro's pre-game before King but I also never thought he'd be stronger than the calamities ^^ (I guess the fact that he pressured Zoro made some folks run with it a little ^^"). At the end of the day, Orochi & his goons are secondary to Kaidou and his crew especially with the addition of BM to the arc.

And then Jack having been injured and down one blade was still fast enough and strong enough to cut Ashura as well all the while WITHOUT TRANSFORMING TO USE HIS TRUE POWER.

At best Ashura can sort of fight with repressed jack. at best

I think because if Zoro would've killed Orochi, Kaido would be really, like REALLY pissed off. We don't need this yet.
