General & Others Is Eiichiro Oda a top 3 mangaka?

In the end public acceptance matter as artist.
There are many great manga but not popular never become successful in sells .
It's the same argument as commercial cinema vs art cinema.
Movies like marvals earn billions , and some good quality movies couldnt earn more than millions..
On topic for me yes...Given his achievements and his work is also good (nothing is perfect)

Easily.His work ethic is second to none.He is so invested in the series for so many years that it's just absurd.His art is great when he decides to draw well, his foreshadowing and worldbuilding ability is insane.
It's not about the One Piece being Top 3 mangas which just can't be the case when the man writing the story sleeps like 4 hours a day for the last 20 years, but I don't see how Oda is inferior to other mangakas.

Some prefer world building, some the characters, some the art styles, and so on. There are many aspects you can take into account.
For myself, I rate world building much higher than anything else. For sure all (or most) aspects have to be at least 'good' if you wanna like something. I love to learn lore and more abt the world, even more than following the Protagonists.
That said Oda is imo not only the best Mangaka, he's my favourite creator of any kind of art.
Also Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Harry Potter, these will be my all time favourites bc of beautiful worldbuilding.
But Oda's One Piece is simply above them, his world building is like from another world and I love it.

It’s clear that Togashi had no clue how to end HXH, so he just opted to stop writing it and quit while he’s ahead
I still can’t believe that they actually went with some random fodder wishing (from some random dragon balls weaker than Shenron’s) to become stronger than UI Goku, and the wish actually succeeded
