General & Others Is Luffy becoming a little too much strong?

#23
--Two many powerups lessens the impact of previous powerups like adv coa feels like shit

--The main problem is how oda portrays top tier in comparison to anyone like Kaido >>> Katakuri so obviously luffy needed lots of powerups

--Kaido has adv haki , physical strength and mostly awakening so luffy also has to get them in order to defeat him

--Oda could have made kaido weaker by not giving him adv haki

Or he could have just allowed Kaido to be defeated in a group battle and made Luffy's final PU this arc be ACoC

Save awakening for a future fight where Luffy gets to 1v1 and defeat a top tier by himself

If I was Oda, I would have reserved G5, Awakening, and Adv CoC into the future arcs and focus on Adv CoA for Wano. In extreme case, I would have let Awakening as a key for beating Kaido. But nah, Oda have to crammed so much power-ups into one arc.
Oda nerfed Luffy so much, even with him not learning anything from Rayleigh apart from Basic Haki which he could have learned by himself.

Even Garp did not train Luffy much, only throwing him into the jungle, which Rayleigh repeated. This is why Luffy came into the New World without Even FLOW haki. So Oda could milk Luffy's fights. But it caught up to him in Wano.

Luffy should not have struggled as much as he did with the Commanders. Oda also made the Gap between the Yonko and YC1 too big.

So in recent chapters we've seen that even G4 adcoc luffy is alot stronger than anyone in the alliance, and now we have G5 Luffy that basicaly has no limits.

Thing is, Luffy is turning into another Kaido/Big Mom with an abysmal gap between him and his crewmates (Sanji/Zoro), in fact, he can pretty much solo his entire crew right now, he never before was seen so much stronger than the rest of his crew and that was cool, i used to think that the strawhats would've be a balanced crew just like shanks's crew seems to be.

But nope, he now seems to be stronger even in comparasion with other top tiers in the series, and this is crazy.

I feel like Oda want Luffy to go to the endgame of the series being the big boss of all things. (fleet/allies/and now powerlevel as well)

Thoughts?
By shonen plot trope, Luffy has to be the definitive strongest ever. So thinking that Luffy has to be a weakling forever against Admirals or Emperors etc is betraying that narrative imo.

It's definitely a mess. The transition from advanced Ryuo to CoC coating was already messy enough and made all the training for the former seem irrelevant, but Oda added another power up that Luffy got in pretty much the same way he got CoC coating.
It just makes others like Big Mom look so much worse now in comparison.

let's see.

zoro

black blades
adv coc dominated
adv armament

sanji

adv armament
adv observation
wake up coc

sanji and zoro have at least 2 or 3 latent powerups coming up, but luffy scales and grows at a different scale, the only way zoro and sanji close the gap is if in the next arc they take care of the final boss.

that the G5 render luffy unconscious/incapacitated for all or most of the arc, and rely on his most powerful fighters.

(reminds me of the scene in the hot springs of the movie Z, yes, I know it's not canon, but there sanji refers to Z having kairoseki and that cancels luffy's fruit, and sanji asks to fight with zoro to finish off Z .

if something like this happens, zoro and sanji approach luffy again, if not, luffy keeps fighting and increasing his powers, they will never reach/approach him

Zoro also got kinemons firestyle to generate fire for offense and cut fire. So Zoro also got 4 power ups this arc.
