The Legend Of Zelda Discussion Thread

This show was catastrophic in terms of juries and games in general. Aside from a few great looking games, I basically had the impression that all other games had the same kind of agenda to push their political ideologies onto their games. But the game itself? Either shooter or/and splatter - absolutely boring, my thought. What happened with video games nowadays?

That's why, nowadays I enjoy indie games MUCH MORE than this BS. At least you know when indie game developers try to be different compared to the current crap we're seeing now.

Actually, Link's entire life is freaking tragic at this point, he died as a lone hero, nobody knows what he truly accomplished so far.
He also never found Navi since MM clearly portrays the stages of grief to which Link was at the stage of acceptance at the end.

Twilight Princess and Hyrule Historia even highlights Link's tragedy through the Hero's Spirit, read the wikia:

I truly hope we might see a Zelda game as a continuation to MM as Adult Link before he dies.
That would require a whole new antagonist or group of antagonists, independent of Ganondorf.

I kinda wish to see a group of antagonists with everyone having its own and distinct look and personality, it's something I developped after watching the Skeksis in the Dark Crystal, the last time we got a minion with real personality was in the Oracle of Ages with Veran who was a super villain and character despite being subordinate to Ganon and the Twinrova.

Most of the time it's just the big bad and its lieutnant or pawn like Aghanim, Ghirahim or Zante while the rest of the minions are most of the time just mooks with no personality.

Mario fans waiting for new 3d game or rpg :
Rumors dont count.
I still wait for Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

I enjoy Zelda 2 nes game better than Zelda 1 nes game :akasalt:. I love this game style. Of course it is hard but you need downward thrust to make game easier.
Zelda 2 was good but Zelda 1 was far better imo. Still, AlttP is better than both.

FINALLY !
Finally I have bought the Switch and I play to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild !

Just finished Vah Naboris. God this dungeon was so frustrating, the riddles and rotations were really long to solve and Thunderblight Ganon was such a pain to beat, Waterblight gave me some difficulty at the beggining of his fight but Thunderblight was so difficult and angering to fight.

I’ve said that I don’t think BotW is a brilliant Zelda but I think it’s a brilliant game and man, really seeing the truth of that recently. Tried to get through two other open world games, Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Zero Dawn and, y’know, they’re not bad or anything. If I’d played them before BotW I’d probably be really impressed.

But BotW just blows them out of the water.
