seems like a great chapter. funny that luffy fans are eating so much. theyre getting everything they wanted, awakening rubber world, gear 5, joyboy powers, now giant luffy.

gotta say it sort of demands some more power ups for the rest of the crew. rocks and roger and whitebeard had real hitters, luffy cant be endgame with just him being strong

I think people are complaining way too quickly about this.

I would not be surprised if they "heartbeat" is slowly taking Luffys life away. I would NOT be surprised if it's actually killing him.

Oda has made this point with Gears beforehand. Him running out energy and the fruit tapping into his inner life force is actually something I've thought would actually happen in this story.


Im of the belief that Luffy may literally kill himself saving the world. I.e. the ending being "bitter sweet" according to Oda.

When was the last time Life Force was mentioned before this?? Plus isn’t Luffy supposed to suceed where Roger and JoyBoy failed?? How is that by dying again
