Character Discussion Luffy the embodiment of hope, freedom, and joy. What do others embody more than anyone else?

- Zoro, more than anyone, represents the effort to push your limits for the sake of your goal and your friends.

- Sanji represents more than anyone, the empathy even for those he hates, and the appreciation of having friends (after WCI)

- Akainu represents more than anyone else, extremism and the twisted idea of absolute justice.

Maybe zoro could represent sacrifice more so
  • He was willing to sacrifice his arm when he wanted to test nidai
  • He was willing to sacrifice his dream for luffy and the crew in thriller bark
  • He sacrificed his pride to get trained by mihawk
  • He sacrificed his body so the other nova didn't have to
  • He sacrificed his life by taking the mink drug to keep on fighting
    • Same when he was fully utilizing enma
I agree with sanji tho he very much seems to represent compassion/empathy

Tho Usopp embodies negativity and fears what everyone has tho
Nami embodies migrane due to taking care over the whole crew

All SHs are associated with Divine Powers

Zoro's Asura
Sanji's Connection to Lunarians who were called "Gods"
Usopp's Epithet is "God"
Nami took control of a Weapon named after a "God" (Zeus)
Brook was worshipped where Kuma sent him
Robin's Demonic Form
Franky had Blueprints of Pluton which is named after a "God"
Not sure about Jinbe & Chopper yet
And even if Yamato joins, her Mythical Zoan is named after "God"

So the idea is that each Straw Hat represents One Aspect of Divinity
If Luffy = Divine Freedom, then:
Zoro = Divine Willpower (Trion Spirit), Usopp = Divine Prophecy (His Lies become reality), Sanji = Divine Body ... etc

Zoro is for me the example of the man I want to be. Someone who gives himself 100% for those who are important to him. Someone loyal to his values without caring what others think. Someone who knows that they give 100% for their dreams.
