The End and the Beginning

I'm unsure which part of this you aren't understanding, but you essentially claimed something that wasn't an entirely true representation of what you were, and even if it wasn't, it would still be prudent to investigate further.

Ekko didn't initially do that, I've no problem with someone who is upfront about their capacity for betrayal. Their life expectancy gets set as a direct function of how useful and/or beneficial they are.

Seeing as you think this is somehow some kind of silver bullet as regards my own alignment, let me ask you what you think I gain, as a potential scum player, from giving a claimed indie a pass? It'd make sense if you thought Ekko was actually a scum partner of mine I guess, but I dont think youre running with that?

"Wrong again. I claimed the "End of Time" passive, which even the hosts told me I shouldn't have, so I was fully transparent with the Town. The role flipped, so you've seen that I claimed everything as it was given. Scum can benefit from Indies as an extra scum player later. You could be mates, too."

Except I've already been pretty clear that hes on borrowed time?

Whether you claimed the passive or not doesn't change whether it existed or not. Had you claimed to be a pro-town indy who was pro-town until he no longer was, that would have been an honest representation of what you were. Whether you chose to activate it or it was forced on you means nothing in the context of what you actually were. Juliet wanted to be town but she was still just scum using mafia abilities to find other mafia, which wasn't ideal but it was what it was
