I thought someone tried to town convert someone but hit the person converted earlier and then that culted the person who got culted before and the person doing the culting lol.

Thats what happened from the wording of the WU, the person that used the stone got culted too. Wouldnt make sense for that to happen if they were scum to begin with.

No i think thats exactly what happened lol, some town tried to cult a person that was mafia but got culted to town and then reverted them back to their alignment and got culted with them.

Either way, Alphonse or Ling should know who it was that reverted.

- Scum tried to return their teammate back to scum but that would expose their teammate cuz he was converted by a town
- Scum team A wanted to actually convert someone but they were already converted , an indie or Scum team B
- An unlucky town/indie picked the wrong target ?

1st one makes no sense because it says the user got culted too, how would the user get culted into the alignment if they were of that alignment to begin with.

2nd would be such a meme lmfao and if true then if they were not an indie then one scum team knows the members of the other one.

3rd is more likely imo.

why would an amped convertion turn the sender into the converted because the target was already converted? am i getting this right?

A bit angleshooty here but Im assuming the person that was culted to town was mafia and got culted back to their team so whoever used this would know the persons identity and to prevent that they were culted in with them.
