I have in fact seen the post in question, and his reasoning was that if this was a copy paste of the previous game, it would be easy to just mass claim and solve the game this way.

If you believe this was some kind of attempt for him to get claims to kill as Scarface, then I believe you are basing it a faulty basis.

In my eyes you have more or less already confirmed you are scarface by your plays, you cannot fool science.

The fact that ratchet is stating im a specific character within a known group is a clear tip off that theres info involved. He also chose not to 'reveal it' until ariess processed his dead characters actions so, what do you think is likely?

This feels insanely contrived when you consider:

A) Gram, scar or not, was "outted" at this point
B) Mango went *hard* on Pero, completely ignored the discussion around Gram, and even defended them

It feels like an intentional pivot on Mango's part, maybe because they anticipated they could redirect the lynch anyway, or just to bus. It's weird all around though.

I mean, maybe. For me it's just something like this:

1) Ratched got information of Gram being part of Scar's team, but instead saying that he said "it's Scar"
2) Gram was saying he's not Scar, but something different, still hostile
3) Alphonse saw that Gram claims being hostile and turned him town
4) Winry saw that Gram claims being hostile and activated ability that, I guess, will kill everyone from Scars team
5) Winry's ability worked anyway and killed Gram, because even as town, he still comes from Scars team
