Greed's role was designed to follow his role in the anime. Makes sense someone with the greed name would be a cultist at the start then shift to a more pro town side when reborn like the series. It was more about fitting the theme of the game. As for how they won, Its mostly because not a fan of giving indies unattainable win cons. When your indies have no shot at winning because they failed to meet a certain requirement at a certain point then I find that poor game role design. They should be able to always have a shot to win or else why bother playing?

Ah, I see. Yeah Scar somehow being able to kill Father wouldve fucked me over royally.

Here is the thing bro, Im sorry If I got a bit angry in the thread but Ive been losing sleep over this game/staying caught up and observing all actions and keeping lists of people and their potential roles,etc.

I am just not here for it. I would've rather I lost than deal with this kinda stuff If I'm being honest.

Game was funny and hilarious and I was rooting for all parties involved, but it seems like there is some degree of bias going on here. For example Ultras wincon was easier than mine in many regards, for one no one cared about his fodder role whereas the Greed role is cult therefore an enemy of town and also a huge enemy for scum. Less than an hour after my slip I got hit by an Omega another I mean. At some point we gotta zoom out and look at the whole picture rather than compare wincons. Yes I reincarnate into Ling as Greedling but I onl have a shot or two at getting father again before I die for good and town wont trust Ling after he becomes purple , nor will other indies,etc Heck frigging Lultra outed LM as soon as Greedling appeared. Meanwhile Ultra could challenge the same dude in his wincon twice in a row, not really be worried about dying to anyone since no one cares enough to do so with more important anti town roles running around.

Im in no way saying you didnt put effort in lol

Anyway look I think there was some misunderstanding here - what I said was meant as ribbing. Im certainly not salty you won or anything

When I saw that kill on me first I sent an action to kill Ed but then I thought about it and decided that it was most likely Red that offed me.

Ratchets stated case on me was that he thought that me being hard on pro town indies was inauthentic, which was a bad read for a number of reasons, but he got the (somewhat) right answer

If you didnt think I played townie, thats fine, I still did enough in thread to force a winning position

To be clear, I felt like part of your "tone" was off, but it was hard to qualify, and something I only saw really because of the way I was playing. So I leaned into my investigation. It was frustrating to see people say afterwards that it was just a theory of mine though, I must say, why would I even theory craft you were Scar instead of any other scum lol? Town really didn't deserve this game, I think overall you guys or Mafia were worthy winners. Prof did well for his team.

basically joygirl killed me - my scar role hopped over to rotty and he revived me by undoing the kill. I hid the action because i was hoping it would mean it wouldnt be tampered with again, which is ultimately what got me

Then I tried to convince the game that I was never really dead, and I was hoping that Blue flipping the same sheet as me would support that, the idea being that no one would even think to try reversing the revive action. Unfortunately mafia had enough spare shit that they gambled on it anyway lol

It's getting almost unplayable for me in these big games when I'm town. It's like I either die early or just get my role controlled and then killed off when I'm all used up kek.

I dont consider my win a win anyways, I just got miffed at people like Ultra saying LM did nothing when he provided multiple pieces of critical information to town about who's homonculi or not, who's not father,etc and me who stopped multiple Killshots, blocked scum from doing stuff.

@Dr_Professor83 Can tell you how much of a pain in the ass I was for them all game, heck I outed Prof D0 and then correctly scum read you and also outed Blue,etc.

Anyways, sorry If Im being on edge man, you're a G and I really wanted you to win. Scar is one of my favorite FMA characters.

speaking of joygirl, her behavior and action was inexcusable, she literally threw the game for townies by rage quitting like that. I am confident she had abilities to use and got refilled but she was gone by then to use any of them.
