Given by the fact that Kaido's supposedly equal lost to two YC1 i highly doubt that Kaido could ever solo two Admirals but sure maybe he can hold his own.

More and More I'm convinced that Kaido already awakened when he went from a fish to a dragon but he hasn't shown his trump card yet.

I think we would have seen a silhouette of him awakening at the end of the chapter if he had a transformation awakening like Luffy

Kaido has the knowlege how to get awakening and he talks so causually that for me its clear he will awaken it soon.
It kinda looks like he is observing luffy to counter him later with his awakening ,now with stamina playing a massive role in awakening .

We will know soon ; awakening does gives its user a new form so either he is going to show a new form or he was some kind of fish who transformed into dragon

At least kaido knows the concept of awakening lol , whether he has to show awakening or he Awakened his fish fruit to dragon or something will be confirmed

Oda will make Kaido awaken so he can drag out this arc and fight even more, make Luffy lose again, Luffy will have to fight Kaido YET AGAIN and get ANOTHER powerup somehow and Morj will be moister than the waterfall at Wano especially if the Raid fails!

Seriously though, I think Oda held off Kaido awakening due to Luffys real DF reveal and thus its awakening, especially as its a Mythical Zoan like Kaido's ofc and thus the 1st on-screen Myth Zoan awakening too! The 1st Zoan awakening since Impel Down too! But why no Ancient Zoan awakenings then Oda?! Sigh...
At least give it to Drake since he's on the verge of death and can finally be redeemed and get a W that he truly deserves finally!

There should be 2 chapters in a row an after 1047 and a break after 1049 instead. Next weeks break is an Oda break so we have 3 chapters until another one.

She didnt even technically lose and you know it. She lost due to the environnement around her. Heck, she was still kicking and oozing advanced conquerors.

Still confident that kaidou has an awakening, it's not like his body and mind have reached the limit yet. Anyway I'm enjoying the extreme difference the G5 is making in a basic hybrid kaido, not even using its drunken ways.

So how is he going to be defeated if he hasn't awakened yet? Luffy needs Gear 9.
