Tobirama and the other kage have also been said as equally as strong as they once were with contrast to orochimaru's old edos which apparently didt do that

Madara as a edo was directly said as stronger then his past self too so naruto fans are quite literally objectively wrong when saying the edos are nerfed

The word used above was boast which means to brag or to self praise. Madara was mocking him and saying your quite slow for somebody who bragged about having fast speed.

In conclusion. Edo tensei are generally portrayed as ether stronger or equal to their original selfs depending on the character or context presented.
