Hm interesting. I hope for a big Info drop somewhere in the Movie. Maybe one of the characters will turn out to be "canon" and that will give us the reason Shanks visits the World Government and is welcomed by them(or is he forced?)* Note what Shanks said at the End of the trailer, very dark for a character like him. I wonder if the WG has some kind of leverage over him. At this point i doubt this Movie will be boring or uninteresting for the main story line, come on we have Shanks involved. Oda will deliver this time, I believe. This could also serve as a transition for Shanks to appear in the Manga, remember we got the laugh tale name reveal in the Movie before it was revealed in the Manga too.

You won't say this after Oda completely skips most of the mysteries he set or completely rushes them into oblivion. He has too much stuff to cover and he won't cover it, that's the reality. He should use the opportunities he gets, if Red was hailed as a Canon movie it would only boost interest in One Piece from the Japanese audience side.
