I get it. I also thinks it feels weird for Kaido to drop the Kanabo and go drink mojitos on some lost island beach somewhere. But the thing is...Kaido WANTS to die because it counts as a "win" to him. Die in glorious battle or whatever. So I also don't like the idea of having ZKK happen in a way that would legit satisfy Kaido.
Rewarding the dude who enslaved an entire country for decades looks dumb.

What would be the options? BB appears? Marines? To be fair, I would prefer the Marines to appear, Ryokugyu in specific for a simple reason: every admiral has their "moment". For Aokiji, it was when he appeared right before water7 and completely rekt Luffy Zoro and Sanji at the same time. Pure menace.
For Kizaru? Sabaody. Another show of pure power and threat. Akainu? Marineford. Fujitora? Dressrosa. Ryokugyu is the only one left to make a "big appearance". That's the only reason I would pick him over the other Admirals to show up now.

BB....I would rather for BB to be in WCI stealing the Road Poneglyph there.
So in your mind zkk happening is bad cuz it gives kaido what he wants yet admirals killing him doesn't??????????????

Your analogy is him dying is giving him what he wants but if he die by other strong people it's OK????????

Your analogy is that kaido LIVING to do what he wants to do all over again since he isn't dead is fine when it's just as bad since it solidifies his reasons to keep on pursuing. It's like people turn silly and forget that the dude was already capture numerous times my Marines and other pirates etc. That won't even deter him lol. The only solution for kaido having a bad death or losing what he wants is if he is severely injured and have to live no longer being as strong as he was. He has to live his life as a feeble man since he no longer posses the ability to remotely fight top tiers anymore.

kaido wants to die in a way equivalent to whitebeard or roger, where his death means the end of an era and the beginning of a new age. if he can't get that, kaido seems like he'd at least be content to die against a "worthy" opponent, but that's not really what he's after. if kaido dies on Wano and the real story never makes it to the wider world, he isn't getting what he wants at all. Like say Zoro kills him over the capital. If Wano remains isolated, and the WG move in, and Luffy and crew leave, what's that accomplish? He's just losing his spot as yonko and a new one takes his place, it's not world-changing. Kaido wants to start his world war, then die in that. He wants to do what Whitebeard did but to start a "world of violence". If he dies over the local conflict he's still dying unsatisfied.
