Eh, whatever. I don't expect LM to show up so I will tell. DP2 i had him as town so I used ability to amp his next action. Possibly, depending on situation it could get through some protections. So if he protected Pein, technically it could go through and it wouldn't fail.
He said about another ability that also failed.
What's interesting though is that Pein got hit with SUPERkill that night. So maybe that's what I upgraded .-. I think I'm on Bonnie atm, but I'm going to
