I think there's a blurred line between who's considered a swordman or not, so I just follow Oda's words and the characters' own words to determine who's Swordman or not

It's so funny because the way these retards look at One Piece, it means Zoro's entire dream, life's work, narrative, and character, is a hollow lie. Given that Mihawk and Shanks are swordsmen, and Zoro by defeating Mihawk, the WSS, isn't stronger than Shanks, it literally entails what I just said. People that downplay Mihawk are just brainlets who can't understand 1) Context 2) Character traits 3) Narrative and it's really sad.
Well when you can’t use logic to understand that any swordsman adds to the wss hype,and the fact that 3 of the people in kaido list were all swordsmen that’s on u and ur cope for mihawk not mine , so whatever shanks can do swordsmanship wise mihawk the wss can do way more same for zoro. As far as the story necessitates his growth mihawk is still above it 😂😂😂. Just a reminder chap 96 mihawk calls ur boy shanks a has been (definition is outdated) this is current to the story but please keep the mihawk downplay going .

what we do know however is there is a top tier swordsman(roger) stronger the guy who unlocked this feat.
1.) your individual strength alone isnt the requirement to what turns the blade black
2.) if its not , then there's a certain skill or knowledge attached to making one that the others on that level didnt follow.
if that's the case , this is not too different katakuri having futuresight while his mom doesnt. would big mom be stronger if she had fs like her son? undoutedbly yes
is she weaker than her son because she lacks it ?

True swordsmans put everything they have behind their swords, Roger and Shanks must have Haki abilities that are not related to swordsmanship.. Roger and Shanks use swords as a weapon while Mihawk and Zoro use their swords as a way of life.. Example Roger isn’t the type of swordsman to care about making dents in his sword unlike Mihawk who counts every nick as a mark of shame..
