True swordsmans put everything they have behind their swords, Roger and Shanks must have Haki abilities that are not related to swordsmanship.. Roger and Shanks use swords as a weapon while Mihawk and Zoro use their swords as a way of life.. Example Roger isn’t the type of swordsman to care about making dents in his sword unlike Mihawk who counts every nick as a mark of shame..

It's ironic that the concept of Gear 5 is off the wall freedom, because the execution is making the chapters repetitive. Luffy's punching through faces and grabbing lightning and doing super Giant, and those things don't feel special once they finish happening.

To be fair, i think many of them do understand these things. They just don't want to agree because they are Luffy / Shanks fans or they are Zoro haters, so they don't want Mihawk to be strong, it's that simple.

It's far more fulfilling if Zoro forges his own supreme grade swords, both Enma and Wado have the same potential to be turned into black blades. Gifting Zoro a supreme grade sword would cheapen his goal imo

In the future, supreme grade will have another new three swords, from 12 to 15 in total. It's all Zoro's own achievement, and someone talk 'ass' about it. Lmao, ignorant.

yeah ofc factually didnt and capability to are two different things .
what we do know however is there is a top tier swordsman(roger) stronger the guy who unlocked this feat.

1.) your individual strength alone isnt the requirement to what turns the blade black
2.) if its not , then there's a certain skill or knowledge attached to making one that the others on that level didnt follow.

most likely not.

It simply is one among Mihawk's set of abilities (Supreme Grade black blade, those Hawkeyes everyone talks about -probably referring to his COO, and COC).

Roger may have a different set of abilities, sure. Stuff that could compensate for not possessing a black blade. However that does not apply to Oden - we've seen another character use his haki the exact same way as Oden did with overflowing COA and COC, only with a timelimit. If he manages to make Enma black due to a certain skill that Oden did not possess, all points to Oden being weaker than the said character when he achieves a black blade feat.
