Looks like the Ace novel was more canon than I previously thought
Like it’s canon enough for them to consider writing an original story for movie base off of it

Yeah i remember one of a trusted guy in the fandom, but don't remember who exactly the name was( Sandman or other some other) said Ace novel is the most canon among other sources ( vivre card, magazine, etc)

I have not play Darksiders 3 or genesis , so I have no opinion.

’But I enjoy Darksiders 1 and 2. But I like 2 better because it is almost perfect game for me. I got loot system, can build your weapon with critcal chance and critical damage, you can play character as Death, can ride the horse any time in other world, many fun bosses, action rpg gameplay , you can choose skills, dungeons are fun and it not too hard or too easy, etc.

Also I remember the trailer bring the hype although I dislike giant guardian boss battle due trying to shoot big yellow ball.

Pretty much my mindset, I never ended up playing genesis but a few of my friends that loved the series were very disappointed so I've steered clear 😂
