Honestly, Luffy can totally defeat Kaidou in the very next chapter if the small flashback covers some of Kaido time in Rocks.
In the same chapter we got
- Orochi dealt with (?)
- Momo finishes pulling Onigashima
- The lantern stuff
I guess the dawn stuff can happen next chapter the moment Luffy defeats Kaidou since it's exactly what happens with the Moria fight.

Yeah no doubt, and well said. A standard needs to be set and that standard needs to be applied and enforced for everyone. People can't pick and choose what's fair, and then bitch about folks that don't follow the rules.
