I’ve looked into this for a long time, I even DM’d some people that worked at shueisha. The financial ramifications from physical distribution being discontinued are not worth it for them anytime in the near future.

Reading Jump in paper is almost a cultural ritual that would take years to overwrite.
It’ll probably happen and finally end the spoiler/scan era, but it’ll be way after one piece is over from what I gathered.
