I think their personalities may have been a factor too. Smoothie literally juiced some random chick to death, she seems a bit more sadistic than Cracker.

Another thing, Cracker probably spends lots of times in WCI because of how useful his power is defensively while Smoothie probably gets sent out more on missions and gets more opportunities to raise her bounty.

It was said that Magma can consume/burn even fire.
It's inherently superior regardless of temperature according to ODA
