Kata and King seemed invincible and dominated their opponents so badly to the point where they beat them into a flashback only for their opponents to get a power up and win

Bro. The conflict was so forced in the fight and immediately got resolved in 3 pages. It was a joke.
Everything about the fight made sense and the fight was espcally good in terms of focusing on Sanji's character.

Nah just felt like the Pre Timeskip fights. I liked what Nami brought to the fight as well. Even though the fight didn’t particularly mean much it felt like something Oda was creative about

The fight was going on for a while, it started in chapter 1015 and it got resolved in chapter 1034 and no the conflict was not forced.
