It would seem like people believe that since zoro is based on asura and since luffy and kaido are based on different versions of the monkey King (kaido being hanuman) that him asura is irrelevant. Since hanuman scares asuras etc. However it would seem that zoro is based off of Mahishasura the most powerful of the asuras. Maybe later I will go into detail with this
