Mate Zoro is not Rebecca. He deserves more than a fucking 1-arc side character's plotline.

Zoro is AT LEAST as important as Sanji if not outright more important. Some people think Oda did Sanji dirty, and yet:

• He got a drawn out backstory
• A full character arc
• A reassurance of his importance to the crew

If you can't see why it's a problem that we're in an arc CENTERED around samurai and it's been hinted multiple times that Zoro is FROM Wano, and yet he's been sidelined entirely without this stuff resolved, I can't say anything to convince you

You can't treat Wano like some normal arc for Zoro. As I said, this is the ONLY, and I mean ONLY, chance for Oda to fully flesh out Zoro. There's no reason to think there will be more development after Wano besides power-ups.

We've had Hyogoro & Kawamatsu literally say that Zoro looks exactly like Ushimaru & Ryuma. He had Ryuma's sword. He HAS Oden's sword. For him to not end up being recognized as a samurai of Wano would be absolutely asinine and garbage

you are making my point . sanji got all this without a battle. why must zoro to achieve this in the midst of a war...

i think the issue here is your idea and what you want versus against the many routes oda can go with this.
again you don't need to be in the midst of a fight to get a conclusion to these character arcs...
what's the problem with resolving these things after the battle . for example , he is definitely not visitng ryuuma's grave now in the midst of a war.

ryuma fought took down that dragon and was regarded as the sole protector of wano

it looks like the same people you talk about in context of kaido see luffy as the main guy saving their country so all I can say is ...

Then why did he have Kaido destroy the horn at that exact location that is identical to where Zoro destroyed the other horn. Out of all the different spots he could have had Kaido destroy the horn at Oda chose for him to destroy the horn at that specific location. It's not hard to tell that was done for a reason.

If all Oda wanted to do was have Kaido destroy the other horn to show off the strength of his fire mode he could have picked a different location. He could have had Kaido destroy the entire horn but he didn't.

I think the inverse question should be asked here

Bro...Sanji is a cook. Fighting is a BONUS to what he does. It is not the essential component of what he does in the story, it's only one of them.

Zoro's only job is to fight. Literally that's it. He serves hardly any other purpose besides being a protector.

The difference in WCI was that Sanji's development was treated as a central portion of the arc, not an afterthought or a side plot.

Zoro has been hinted to be the second coming of Ryuma multiple times man, both in and out of the manga. Of course Luffy is going to be recognized as a savior of Wano, but for Zoro's development, it makes sense for him to be recognized in a similar manner. It seems like you are saying that Luffy will be the one who is seen as Wano's "Ryuma" and that is insanity in my eyes...whether or not Oda actually delivers is one thing, but if you at least recognize that these things SHOULD be delivered on is enough for me
