i binged read One Piece from start to the end of Whole Cake my first time, you can still tell that Post-TS is lower quality than Pre-TS

that's always the argument people use to say that people only think Post-TS is worse because they couldn't binge read it

post ts is better and everyone who says pre is better is wrong though. its funnier, better crew moments, better paneling. im tired of ppl acting like giant double page spreads for no reason with no background and just white space was "better" because Oda was lazier back then and didnt want to draw as much/had no assistants

i agree, pre TS arcs are better in general. But this doesn’t mean that post time skip is bad. Dressrosa and Wano are beautiful imo. Wano has been stretched a bit to meet certain milestones (chapter 1000 and roof piece), chapter 1056 on the week of 25th anniversary, for example

Didn't last too long and imo should've been longer, but in general it filled that same role

It lasted less than a single chapter, at the end of the chapter we already knew Luffy would be up again and stronger

The distance is incomparable. The size of the punch alone before even calculating the damage it does is already an AOE attack LOL

Oda just sucks at showing DC. He delegated a tiny panel to BM's first sword attack in WCI, the one that went through the castle and created a big wave, it made the outcome of the attack way less impactful. Funny enough he details the hell out of Law's attacks you see the DC and everything. This trend makes the fights lame imo, which is why the Tobiroppo came off as garbage tier their attacks completely lacked flashiness and scale. There were better visual feats in freaking east blue.

As a Zoro advocate, I plan on saving my boys and their mental health by banning them for a month.

Might be the most peaceful and least toxic month worstgen will have.

Ohk this maybe just my opinion but everyone manga does fall after reaching a peak. Literally every manga. Mha , aot , Naruto , sds , jjk. Just look at what happened to sds and Tokyo ghoul. People just lost their hype. Because author gave them a peak already and they set that as their benchmark. Marineford was peak mainly because though luffy being important there, it focused a lot more on side character. A complete masterpiece with everyone getting panels they deserve rather than wasting it on Mc again and again.

I meant the distance from how high kaido and luffy were to how high luffy and doffy were. But either way the fist covers so much area and is so strong that it quite literally has insane aoe just off that alone.
