I dropped Samurai 8 around chapter 10 because it was just lore dumps on top of lore dumps. I think kishimoto wanted to set up this huge world waaayyyyy to fast and couldn't manage to fit in any actual stories because the world was just escalatiNG too much.
Like the last chapter I read was when some random guy just appeared out of no where and Destroyed the fuckin moon of the planet and I'm like "We're destroying the moon in the first 10 chapters now???" DROP
But people say that it's slowed down around the 20 chapter mark and started getting better but I guess the couldn't recover from such a begining

Should have took a page from Kubo’s book and make something like Burn The Witch, but I guess Boruto is kind of like that and that shit not much either.
Yes I said that. I said the manga was about the two chicks but that first chapter was about so.e other random guy.
That chapter featured some random guy who we get a backstory for and we get character development for this guy, we get emotional conflicts for this guy and the this guy ets introduced to this world of witches or whatever. All this happens with two main characters sort of just observing shit and just fighting some random monsters and shit like that.
Basically the actual story of the one shot was about this guy and the two chicks happened to just be around
