Even if it is a fan service, oda still had both Kidd & luffy use their best forms : punk load & boundman, to just have them flex.

Sooner or later you will realise g4 isn't that great as you wank it, kata already exposed boundman weaknesses and his base matched FS Snakeman.

Oda could have shown g3 luffy and Kidd using punk load but nah
