It's now or never for Luffybros and Lankers FC, especially Kaido's: do you honestly want Akainu's power to finish off a second Yonko with little effort and therefore ending someone even Luffy couldn't? Or would you rather have ZKK by Luffy's firstmate?

Nah, that's a misinformation The original concept of Teach was that he could nullify any type of attacks that hit him meaning even three admirals might not have been able to get rid of him . It literally stated that this concept of Teach is the opposite of the Teach who is in hard pain from any attack.

Neither Kaido or Big Mom showed awakening.
King and Queen's fight had more focus than Big Mom's fight.

General strength, he knew Luffy was on his level and extremely strong and said so repeatedly, but was still confident in his melting dragonic avatar turmp card.

tbh, I do think obsessing this much over a single story that we haven't even read yet is a little crazy given how much negativity surrounds it. It's not particularly good for anyone to be so angry. We already know One Piece has slow pacing so it's better for people who are unhappy to do something else like read other manga or some other hobby until a full chapter is out.

Could it not be that that attack was far stronger than he expected, since Luffy hadn't used it before, it was the size of an ISLAND, etc. Kaido can be confident about Luffy's general arsenal but it shouldnt mean we should take his statement verbatim for an attack he's never seen or been hit by before.
