Just read the Cupboard's translation and it completely elevates the chapter's quality.

I'm mulling over actually stopping looking at spoilers. Since JB and MS halted, lower quality versions have lessened my enjoyment of OP on the first read.

Unless the Cupboard's version stay consistently good over the next few chapters, I might be switching over to the official version :bamathink:

Don't know if I'll have the stomach to do it though since I'm greatly amused by the nonsense we spread on spoiler day, we'll see :specialmeh:
I mean you should still read the official ver when it comes out even if you read the scans already

Of course I do, I've been subscribed to Viz since their first ever issue in 2012. Remember Shonen Jump Alpha? I used to love getting those Yu Gi Oh cards in the mail when I was in University lol

I meant going back to the official version as the first version I read. I used to do that until Luffy vs Kata when I started looking at spoilers/scans again. Even though I have fun looking at chaotic spoiler discussions, the current quality of scans diminish the experience of first read.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Kinemon's plan. The tactics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of advanced logic and Japanese linguistics, most of the intricacies will go over a typical reader's head. There's also Kinemon's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Noland The Liar and Ryuma literature, for instance.

The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of his plan, to realise that it's not just funny- it says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who don't appreciate Kinemon's plan truly ARE idiots, for instance, Kinemon's internal dialogue "It was supposed to be read Hato not Tokage" which itself is a cryptic reference to Wano's inherited isolationist philosophy. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Eiichiro Oda's genius wit unfolds itself on their manga page. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Kozuki Clan tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

She demands no more pirates
Fun fact, Oda's current editor's favorite character in the whole series is Stussy.

He might pester Oda into making her appear in Wano. Not gonna complain if that happens though. Not just because she's hot, but she seems to be keeping a secret about her age or at least sensitive about it. Maybe she's hiding something? Could she be a revolutionary spy? Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Yes she is too experienced for her age, something misfits.

But I can safely assume she isn't part of the Void Century. :sabogood:
