Dany’s army sailing towards Westeros was a great scene though

It’s a shame the show and this 11+ year wait for the new book killed my excitement for this franchise. I absolutely loved Feast and Dance and was excited for every Westeros plot line and the sample chapters for Winds seem good too.

But there’s only so much wait I can endure while the show gives me a botched version of what’s to come
